We are excited that the weather is finally warm and the rain has stopped long enough for us to start getting out to the pool. We bought a pool membership for a group of local pools that are run by the Park Association here in Nothern Virginia. And one of the pools is close to Josh's work so we have been able to go there and have him meet Raegan and I at the pool after work. Raegan loves the water! They have a really big but shallow baby pool which even has a small waterslide in it. And then they have a huge pool that has a section of it devoted to a Pirates theme with all kinds of sprinklers, slides, and squirters. They also have a section they call the "beach" where there is a big section of sand with sand diggers and some sort of sand machine. So needless to say Raegan is really enjoying her time at the pool. At first she liked us to take her in the big pool but now she likes the baby pool because she can walk around by herself without us holding her. She even tries to put her face underwater. I don't think it's going to take her long to learn how to swim. She really likes playing in the sand too so I think she is going to have a blast at the beach when we go in august. It's nice that I am able to get Raegan outside even on the hot days since we can go to the pool. Last year we didn't belong to a pool so it made for a long summer with a lot of days stuck inside. It is especially fun that Josh can meet us at the pool after work some days!
