Great Day

We had a great day today with Raegan. She started feeling better yesterday and this morning she was much better. She still has a cough but you can tell she is feeling better and back to her normal self. We went to the later service at church today because we had the Parent and Child Dedication at church. Both sets of Raegan's parents joined us at the church for the dedication. Our neighbors and friends Desi, Colin and Christian also came to our church today for the occasion. We were blessed to have all of them there to witness such an important event in Raegan's life. Josh and I are very committed to raising Raegan in a Christian home where Christ is the center. We of course will make mistakes as we raise her and as we all learn together but it is our committment to raise Raegan in a way that is in accordance with Biblical teaching and to do our best to express to her the love that God has for her. Today was a chance for us to make a verbal committment before our church and for our church to commit to help us in this importnant task set before us. It was a wonderful opportunity for our family and we are thankful to have had family and friends with us to witness this and celebrate with us. One funny moment was when Raegan saw Christian and he saw her all dressed up and he said to her ( unprompted) " Raegan you look so pretty!". It was really cute and Raegan certainly loves Christian. We had everyone back to the house for lunch afterwards and Raegan enjoyed playing with Christian and visiting with all of her grandparents and friends!

Another funny story from the day that i just had to share. At night before bed we have been giving Raegan a nasal spray to help with the nasal congestion that she has been having. She always fights us when we are giving it to her but then right afterwards she is fine. So tonight Josh handed it to her just as a joke and said "here raegan do you nose sprays". And she actually took it and pointed it right into her nostril and then put in the other one. Of course she didn't know to press the button so nothing came out but it was so funny to us that she knew exactly what to do with it and she had no problem putting it in her nose even though she usually hates it so much. It was proably much funnier for us than it is to read about it but i still thought I would share. She always has us laughing!

I will post some pictures later on. Right now I am out of time!
