Easter

We had a nice Easter again this year. And this year the weather was absolutely gorgeous which made it even nicer. In the morning we got up at our normal time and we let gave Raegan her Easter basket before Daddy had to leave to go play guitar at church. She got some coloring books, play doh filled eggs, a puzzle and a cow watch ( we decided to skip on the candy since we don't give her much candy anyway and she has gotten plenty from Easter egg hunts). Daddy left and Raegan and I got ready for church. When I picked her up from her class at church they gave me a bag she had decorated and it was filled with Easter eggs from an egg hunt that they did during class. I think she got the hang of Easter Egg hunting at our last hunt because her bag was filled up to the top with Easter eggs! After we left church we headed up to Grandma and Pop Pop's house. Raegan got to see Pop Pop's outdoor train garden for a little while and then she went up to take a nap. After her nap we headed over to Uncle David's house for an Easter Dinner/ 40th Birthday dinner for him. Raegan enjoyed playing with her cousins and second cousins. It was so nice outside that the kids went swimming in the pool. We somehow managed to keep Raegan out of the pool. Neither mommy or daddy thought it was warm enough to go in the pool. I am sure Raegan would have thought the temperature was fine but luckily she didn't pitch a fit when we told her we weren't going in. We had a yummy dinner and then had a cake for Uncle David and cupcakes for the kids. It was a nice day with family and we are glad we got to celebrate both Easter and Uncle David's birthday!
